The Eggplant is a vegetable with wonderfull flowers that produce very weel if the climate is suitable.  Seeds should be started8-10 weeks before transplantation.  Eggplants love the heat do not transplant to early in spring.  2-4 plants per family should gave you enough for summer BBQs and autumn ratatouille!!
